DOES MY HORSE NEED MASSAGE?
  • All horses no matter the job (breeding, riding, competing, driving, etc.) should have bodywork at least once every 2 to 3 months.

  • Competitive horses can benefit from sessions 1-4 times per month depending on the amount of stress put on them

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER A MASSAGE SESSION
  • Always wait at least 3 days in between massage sessions.

  • Light riding for the 1-2 days directly after therapy is highly recommended.

  • Most horses will be relaxed and sleepy immediately following a session.

  • If the horse was in a lot of pain, they may be guarded and annoyed following the initial session.
